Node.js in Cloud Hosting
If you host an Internet app on our advanced cloud hosting platform and you’d like to try out Node.js, you will be able to add it to your account irrespective of the cloud hosting package that you use. You can make this from the Upgrades menu in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to take advantage of Node.js in no more than a couple of minutes after you add this upgrade to the account. You’ll be able to select the number of instances that you’d like to add to the account – one instance means one app using Node.js. In the new section that will appear in the Control Panel, you can write the path to the .js file in your hosting account and select whether the file in question will be accessible through the physical server’s shared IP or via a dedicated one. Our system will also designate a port number for the connection. You will be able to shut down or to restart each instance independently, if it is needed.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Hosting
You will be able to use Node.js for any real-time script-driven web application hosted in a semi-dedicated server account, since the Node.js platform comes with all our plans and you can activate it with just a couple of mouse clicks. If you wish to use it for several web sites, you can create more instances from the Upgrades section of your Hepsia Control Panel. The activation is as simple as entering the folder path to your .js file and choosing whether the platform should use a dedicated IP or any of the server’s shared IP addresses, so you can take full advantage of Node.js even if you haven’t got any previous experience with a similar software platform. Our system will also assign a random port number which will be used to access the .js file associated with the specific app. Hepsia has an easy to work with graphical interface that will allow you to reboot and to remove any of your existing instances, to get new ones or to check your apps’ output with just one single click.
Node.js in VPS
All Linux VPS that are ordered with our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel offer Node.js by default and you can take advantage of the platform for each Internet app that you run on the Virtual Private Server. As we have not put a limitation as to the amount of Node.js instances that you can activate, you can make the most of the power of our servers and mix it with the full capacity of the Node.js platform. The configuration is done through the Hepsia Control Panel’s time and effort saving, point & click interface, so even if you’re not technically experienced, you won’t have any obstacles while working with the Node.js platform. You’ll just have to add the folder path in the VPS account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to select if it will use a shared or a dedicated IP address. In addition, our system will also set a port number to access this file and you will be able to see it in the respective section in the Control Panel. With only one click, you can see the output of your apps and to remove or to reboot any Node.js instance hosted on the VPS server.
Node.js in Dedicated Hosting
You will be able to use Node.js with your real-time, script-powered software apps at no extra cost when you order one of our Linux dedicated hosting and pick the Hepsia Control Panel on the order page. The Node.js instances can be managed from the Node.js section of the Hepsia CP through an easy-to-navigate interface, which will enable you to start/deactivate/reboot any instance or to see the output of the application which uses it with only a click. Even if you’re not very tech-savvy, you’ll be able to use the platform, since all you’ll need to do to activate it is include the folder path to the .js file and choose the IP that will be used to access the file in question – a shared or a dedicated one. A randomly generated port will be assigned automatically too and you will see the benefits of using Node.js right away. By combining the platform with the power of our dedicated servers, you will be able to use the full capacity of your applications and to get the best conceivable performance.
